Memorial cards are beautiful funeral keepsakes, but knowing the right words to include on them can feel tricky. However, these are quite easy to write and we are here to help you.

Here is what you could write on your memorial cards.

Wording

You don't need much wording on your memorial cards, as they are simply a small keepsake that reminds you of your loved one.

At the top of your memorial cards, you should have a small memorial phase, such as 'In loving memory of.'

Underneath, you would then include some key details. This would usually be the name of the person who has passed, as well as the their date of birth and the date that they passed away.

You can then choose what else you would like to include. Many people choose to include a poem on the reverse of their memorial cards, but you could choose anything. Other popular things to include are quotes, your loved one's cemetery and plot number, and a note from a family member. It's completely up to you.

Photograph

Don't forget to include a photograph. A beautiful photo of your loved one is a great way to remember them and the happy times they shared with their friends and family.
