How to Write a Letter to Santa
Christmas is coming up! Help your little one write a letter to Santa by following these easy steps.
Introduction
At the top of the letter, your child should include their name and age so Santa knows who the letter is from!
You may also want to include your address and let Santa know the best way to come into the house - whether that's down the chimney or with a special key.
Are you naughty or nice?
Next, your child should tell Santa if they've been naughty or nice and why. They could also include any achievements at school or home, which will be lovely for you to look back on in years to come.
They may also want to include any goals for the new year, so he will put them onto the nice list for next year, too!
What would you like for Christmas?
This is everyone's favourite part! Tell your little ones to let Santa know what they want for Christmas.
Hopefully, they won't get too carried away!
You could also ask your little one to write onto the letter what they would like someone else to receive, such as their sibling or friend. This makes a sweet touch and teaches them about giving.
Sign off
Sign the letter off with one of these endings:
Love from,
With love,
Lots of love,
Love and hugs,
Can't wait for Christmas!
Drawings
Santa also loves to see your little one's drawings! So why not help them doodle on their letter. Perhaps they can draw a picture of Santa and his reindeer, or a family portrait.
After completing, put your letter into an envelope and seal with a personalised Christmas sticker.
