retirements...any excuse for a party and to get buying some gorgeous

And, now that the Christmas season is upon us, it seems that celebrities need nothing more than a little Festive cheer for an excuse to throw a Winter bash. So, let's see who's been partying in the last week...
It certainly was a fashionable show-stopping week for the celebrity parties. It was a packed calendar including holiday parties, fashion events, the Grammy nomination concert and film premieres.
Jessica Biel turned heads at the premiere of Playing for Keeps in a flashy Versace gown. Naomi Watts was powerful and confident in a brilliant cobalt blue column gown that showcased her flawless figure perfectly. And heading across the ocean, Gwyneth Paltrow took Dubai by storm in a strapless party-ready pantsuit at the store opening of Boss Nuit. And last but certainly not least were Diane Kruger and Taylor Swift. Diane Kruger stepped out at the MoMA film event benefit, while Taylor Swift attended the Grammy nomination concert and after-party.
Half of us think OMG, life is one long party and the other (slightly catty half) think how they must long to be at home in their comfy tracksuits, sitting on the sofa and catchiong up on soaps...much like us last Friday night!
