Examples of Wedding Table Plans

Examples of Wedding Table Plans

We get asked a lot of questions about wedding table plans here at The Card Gallery. One of the main reasons why couples have difficulty is that families are rarely made up of the standard nuclear model - there are step-parents to consider, extended family members, the couple's own children in some cases - and even a wedding with no other family members, just friends. There are many ways to set out your wedding table plans, here are just a few examples of how to do it... Matt Damon and wife renew their vows in a Beach Wedding ceremony

Beach-1-Sea-Sunset-Wedding-Invitation-Open-Out-150 According to Hollywood gossip, Matt Damon has been promising to renew his wedding vows to his wife Luciana Barroso for some time - and it all seems set to be happening any day now in a beach wedding ceremony. The gorgeous pair opted for a low-key wedding seven years ago in Manhattan, but want to go all out for this celebration of their marriage. It is rumoured that Matt has rented out the entire Sugar Beach resort on the Caribbean island of St Lucia under the name 'Mr Naff'! A staff member at the hotel has confirmed: "The hotel was booked under a different name to Damon. We were told that it was a Mr and Mrs Naff getting married. "We then heard that it was Matt Damon and they had been using a false name to stop their secret being found out. He was here two months ago to have a look around. A big yacht moored by the beach and he came into the resort." The couple will be joined by several celebrity pals for the week-long celebration where guests such as George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones are expected to attend. The couple has also rented all 78 rooms of the Sugar Beach resort. We hope that have an amazing time and, if this has inspired you to look into a beach wedding or renewing your wedding vows somewhere tropical, take a look at our fabulous range of beach wedding stationery.

Katie's Price's Wedding Blessing

Calla-Lily- Open Out- Wedding Blessing-150 Katie Price walked up the aisle (again!) last Friday as she and her new husband Kieran held their wedding blessing ceremony. Katie married her stripper boyfriend in the Bahamas back in January in front of just six guests - but the couple staged a more extravagant event for family and friends last week when they made their nuptials official. The wedding party gathered for a ceremony at Rookery Manor in Weston-Super-Mare, and the couple's vows were blessed in a makeshift Indian temple at the venue before guests tucked into a Willy Wonka-themed feast! Katie opted for a High Street strapless gown and tiara, and celebrity guests included Michelle Heaton, Rylan Clark, members of the TOWIE cast and WAGS including Danielle O'Hara. The rest of the ceremony was a less than understated event, with the model apparently choosing a Willy Wonka theme for the nuptials. The brief ceremony - which involved thirteen bridesmaids and a Gospel choir! - was followed by an extravagant reception in a room which looked like something out of Willy Wonka's chocolate factory. Tables were adorned with vases of sweets and giant multi-coloured lollipops instead of floral centre-pieces, and giant sweets were specially made to decorate the room. The three-course menu included Caribbean dishes in a nod to their first wedding in the Bahamas, and a vast drinks menu for guests meant the celebrations continued well into the early hours of Saturday morning. Complete Your Wedding Prints

Wedding Printing As anyone who has ever been involved in a wedding knows, there are a million and one things to sort out. The problem is that each one of these issues often requires time and effort in itself and when you add up all of these hoops you have to jump through, things can become incredibly stressful. Fortunately, at The Card Gallery we have created a seamless and simple user interface that can allow you create your entire selection of wedding invitation cards in one go. Not only this, but we also offer printing for your wedding order of service, table plans and much more. Getting all of the printing to come together in a consistent theme is easy since many of our designs use recognisable wedding conventions with just enough variation in each element to remain distinctive. Table Planning The wedding table plans are especially important when it comes to balancing design and information. Fortunately, we are experienced enough to get this balance spot on. The Gold Rings table plan is a great example of this, blending the rings into the background while keeping the names of all involved clear and easy to view. It will only take guests a matter of seconds to work out where they are sitting. We can also offer this in sizes varying from A3 to A1, both mounted and unmounted. If you have a particularly large wedding party then simply select the number from the drop down menu. Our design can accommodate more than 20 tables, giving you plenty of scope. Other design options include the plan style and the shape of the tables. Choosing the font can also make for a more decorative or informative display, although for something like this it is often best to choose something easily legible from a distance. Named Places Table names lead on from the table planning and you may have carefully considered the seating arrangements. Some parties give named seats as a general guideline, although others deliberately intersperse members from either party to promote conversation between the families. How much you want to spend on the table names is up to you, but as ever, our designs are consistent and you will be able to find the previous themes you have chosen. Each table will be given a number and the prints will be easy to see allowing people to quickly work out where they are sitting, if there is any confusion. The table name itself could be a memento for someone who wants an extra item to remember the occasion by. Order Of Proceedings Perhaps the most important document you print will be the order of service. We offer both concertina and cards that can allow you to detail the day’s proceedings, so nobody is confused about where they are supposed to be. The larger ones can also include thank-yous to all involved as well as being a meaningful keepsake for each participant in the day’s events. These are available for £2 and 80p for the concertina and card respectively.

Celebrity Wedding: Jennifer and Justin

Pink-Gerbera-Border-RSVP-Thumb Actress Jennifer Aniston and her fiance Justin Theroux are rumoured to be preparing to get married in a matter of weeks if the Hollywood rumour mill is to be believed. Jennifer - our girl crush - is believed to be trying to avoid the style of wedding she had with ex-hubby Brad Pitt, and seeking to invite just close friends and family to her nuptials in Hawaii. The couple announced their engagement last August, and allegedly wanted to hold it at their LA home but have been seen looking at venues in Hawaii for a more intimate affair. It is thought that just a few dozen of their closest family and friends will be there, but just how secret can this couple keep their big day with the eyes of the world watching their every move? For your - hopefully smaller! - special day, take a look at The Card Gallery's range of wedding stationery. From save the date magnets and day invitations to RSVP cards and thank you cards, they have it covered.

Katie Price won't be planning another wedding anytime soon!

Antique-Silver-Swirls-Evening-FRONT-150 Katie Price might have shown us a few things when it comes to pulling off a big wedding, but it appears she won't be planning anymore anytime soon after reportedly pulling out of her appearance in the TV show Celebrity Wedding Planner. This show gives celebrities the power to make every decision for a couple about to tie the know - from the save the date announcement and wedding evening invitations through to the bride's dress and venue for the big day. It was planned that Katie was going to be teamed up with Duncan James from Blue, and together they were going to plan a wedding for a couple. However, the show's bosses will now have to find another celebrity couple to plan the wedding, after the former glamour model decided not to take part. Perhaps the former glamour model just can’t face organising another wedding after getting hitched for the third time herself! That, on top of announcing last week that she is expecting her fourth child with her new husband, means that Katie's hands are probably full enough at the moment as it is! Katie married her new man just weeks after meeting. In a statement last week, she said: "It has come as a shock . I would be lying if I said I wasn't nervous because I have experienced miscarriages in the past. We are over the moon. A baby wasn't part of our plans at this stage but anyone who knows me knows I am not one for sticking to rules and plans."
