When to send Save the Date Cards

When to send Save the Date Cards
It's becoming more and more common for people to send save the date cards out in readiness for their big day. Save the date cards are particularly useful if you are getting married at a time when people might be expected to have other commitments such as the Summer holiday months or Christmas time. Save the date cards can be sent as soon as a wedding date has been set, but just how far in advance should you send out your save the date cards? A lot of wedding magazines advise to send out save the date cards six months prior to the wedding date. This is to allow for people having to travel to make the wedding, any flight or hotel arrangements, and also any child-minding issues if children are not invited to the event. Six months is a good time estimate, but you can always send them out earlier if you are organised. Whatever your timescales are, take a look at our range of save the date cards and get inspired. Alternatively, why not send out some save the date magnets instead? It's saving the date with a twist!
